Welcome to the NAGC Live Learning Center

Welcome to the NAGC Learning Center training guide. This guide will help you navigate the login process and the Learning Center’s most exciting features. These include:

Purchasing NAGC activities that are audio synched to the presenter’s PowerPoint slides.
Downloading MP3’s to your mobile device for learning on the go.
Accessing speaker materials.

Review what you learned in person, what you missed, and advance your professional development through this rich educational conference content.

The homepage provides an easy-to-navigate roadmap.

Login on the left-hand side of the homepage. Once you log in, purchase or access complimentary content via the My Content button. The Main Menu tab provides quick links to the NAGC Learning Center homepage, the NAGC homepage and contact us section. This provides access to approximately hours of captured sessions from Annual Conventions, WOW conferences, and Back to School Conferences from 2009.

The main panel in the middle of the homepage provides visitors information on past and current NAGC educational events. Click the activity to access content. The Complimentary Featured Sessions tab gives you a quick link to 6-10 selected sessions that you can access free for a limited time. Those will change frequently, so visit the section often. Currently, the top 10 convention sessions are listed. The Event List tab gives you quick access to NAGC Convention or other event sessions.

In the top right-hand corner the checkout cart displays the dollar amount of the content you plan to purchase.

Below the Main Menu the Group Quick List tab provides a list of knowledge or session channels so you can narrow your search to your preferred area of interest.

Use the Go Back button to return to the previous page, or use the NAGC Home Page button to go to the homepage. If you want to exit the site entirely, select Logout.

Logging in
Click on Login under the My Account tab to log into the LLC. You will be re-directed to the NAGC Single Sign On page. If you already have an account, you can login as a returning user with your username and password in the NAGC user login panel on the right side of the page. If you are not an NAGC member, you will need to create a New Account through NAGC. The single sign-on process will recognize if you are an NAGC member, non-member, fellow member or attendee and apply the appropriate content pricing or complimentary access to your account.

Click the login button. You will be taken back to the NAGC Learning Center homepage.

Your name appears in the top left-hand corner under the My Account tab. The My Content tab houses the content that is available to you. Click on My Content.

Viewing Content
You can view your accessible content under the My Media tab. The drop-down search function lets you search by Conference, Session Group or Formats such as content audio synched to the presenters PowerPoint presentations. Click on Go when you have entered your desired search criteria. You will see all the sessions that are available to you from the conference as well as the duration and format of the session Click on the name of the presentation and you can view a brief sample of the session, watch the session content as well as rate the session after you have viewed it. To watch the session click on session content and click the audio icon under the Watch Now column.

Now you will be taken to the Multiview Media Player and the session will start automatically. You have a range of different options including: volume control, pause, play, rewind, and fast-forward. The progress slide bar that allows you to move to a certain point in the presentation. Click on Views in the upper-right corner of the player and select Expand screen to watch the presentation in full-screen mode. Alternatively, you can select Contract screen which will play the presentation in the default player size. If you are viewing a session that also has the option of video format, you can select Swap Screens to switch between the two.

Handouts
To download presenter handouts or MP3s click on My Downloads. Click on your selections and then go to the bottom of the page and click on Download. Save the zip file to a destination on your computer.

Purchasing
To purchase an educational activity, choose the activity of your choice under the Event List tab. You can click on either the date of the conference or the title of the conference. Click the Add to Cart button and you will notice that the Conference Package has been added to your shopping cart in the top right-hand corner of the page. You can also purchase session content for particular areas of interest by browsing the Previews section. Follow the prompts to fill in your purchase information. Now, you can access the activity digitally year-round. Learn at your own pace and take your education to new heights.
